This opulent resort towers over 2 scenic river valleys, 0.5 km from downtown Banff (regular shuttle to Banff Town at small extra charge)  and within just 15 minutes from Mount Norquay, 25 minutes from Sunshine and 45 minutes from Lake Louise. The Hotel also offers a shuttle to and from Calgary International Airport, 129 kms away.

Spa - The resort’s 38, 000 square foot Willow Stream Spa has 23 treatment areas offering a variety of relaxing massages and beauty treatments, 3 waterfall spa tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and a European mineral pool, all available for a surcharge.
 
Guests have complimentary access to the mountain resort's children's pool, 32-metre indoor pool, year-round 20-metre heated outdoor pool, and outdoor spa tub.
 
Health club (surcharge) - Provides treadmills, stationary bikes, weight-training machines, stair machines, elliptical trainers, yoga mats, free weights, and other equipment. Regularly scheduled fitness classes include yoga and aerobics.
 
Ski - Numerous ski locations are just minutes away. The Fairmont offers an on-site snow school where guests can learn to ski. The resort also offers ski passes, storage, and rental. A shuttle is also provided to nearby ski locations such as Sunshine Village Ski Resort and Mount Norquay Ski Village, both about 2 kilometres from the resort.

Stanley's Smokehouse (seasonal) - Enjoy good old Souterhn barbeque at the golf course club house. Shuttle service available.

STOCK (Food & Drink) - A locally inspired and stylishly STOCKed market that brings gourmet food and drink to Banff. 
 
Samurai Sushi Bar and Restaurant - Authentic Japanese surroundings. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Japanese hot-pot dinners such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and yosenabe. Dinner served five nights per week; seasonal closures.
 
Rundle Lounge - Overlooking the Bow Valley. Appetisers and cocktails. Traditional afternoon tea served daily. Open from early afternoon to late evening.
