Day 1 - Fly UK to Calgary

Fly to Calgary and make your way to your downtown hotel. (transfer not included)

Day 2 - Calgary Stampede

You’re invited to attend the largest outdoor rodeo in the world!! Professional cowboys compete in a myriad of rodeo events, which includes bull riding, roping, chuck wagon racing, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Don your western duds, saddle up and join us for Stampede breakfasts galore, square dancing, parades, the fun of the midway, great exhibits, a spectacular Grandstand show, fireworks and of course, heaping helpings of Western hospitality. This afternoon you have tickets for the Rodeo with reserved seating.

Day 3 - Calgary Stampede

The fun continues at the Stampede, make use of your two day Stampede Park access and soak up the atmosphere. Tonight, you have tickets with reserved seating for the Chuckwagon Races and Grandstand Show.

Day 4 - Calgary to Banff

Coach transfer from Calgary to Banff is included, please advise if you would like a morning or afternoon transfer. Remainder of your day/evening is at leisure.

Day 5 - Discover Banff & its Wildlife with Gondola

This morning we have included the popular Discover Banff & its Wildlife Tour, followed by admission to the Banff Gondola.

Build a connection to our World Heritage Site as you visit Banff's landmarks and view wildlife in their natural winter habitat. Hear how the history of the Bow Valley changed when three railway workers rediscovered a hidden treasure. See and learn about wildlife behaviour, habitat, and their winter survival adaptations. This is Banff's best tour for viewing wildlife which are seen on 95% of the tours.

Day 7 - Icefields Parkway tour from Banff to Jasper via Lake Louise

Depart Banff this morning.

Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never-ending procession of mammoth mountains, jagged snowy peaks, and over 100 glaciers. The entire day is spent in the majesty of Canada's two most famous National Parks, Banff and Jasper. Enroute, make a stop at Athabasca Falls located just outside of the Jasper Townsite. Among the most powerful and breathtaking falls in the Rocky Mountains, the Athabasca River thunders through a narrow gorge where the walls have been smoothed and potholed by the sheer force of the rushing water carrying sand and rock. Our next stop is the breathtaking Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier where we will allow time to enjoy an Ice Explorer ride on the Glacier & Glacier Skywalk. Next, we continue to the Weeping Wall, and the Crowfoot Glacier before joining the Trans-Canada Highway near Lake Louise where a stop will be made to view the lake and famous Chateau, then continue on the Trans-Canada Highway, passing fortress formations of Castle and Protection Mountains to arrive into Banff late afternoon.

Day 8 - Maligne Valley Sightseeing with Cruise

Today you have a 6 hour tour included - Maligne Valley Sightseeing with Cruise. This introduction to Jasper begins with a short tour of the town before heading across the Athabasca River to Maligne Lake. A century after Mary Schaeffer's remarkable adventure, come discover the world-renowned Maligne Lake for yourself! A stop at Maligne Canyon offers staggering views of the river thundering through a series of magnificent waterfalls in a gorge 10,000 years in the making. Farther up the valley, stop to solve the mystery of "disappearing" Medicine Lake. Next, we'll carry on to the pinnacle of our tour, breathtaking Maligne Lake! Once there you can enjoy an interpretative boat cruise bound for Spirit Island, truly another of Canada's iconic images.

Day 9 - Explore Jasper National Park & Tramway

Explore Jasper National Park at your leisure today. We have included a ride on the Jasper Tramway for a scenic view over the town.

Day 10 - Rocky Mountaineer - Jasper to Kamloops

This morning you will board the famous Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops. Please note all accommodations in Kamloops are of moderate standard. Breakfast & lunch will be served onboard.

Day 11 - Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. Breakfast & lunch will be served onboard. Transfer to your downtown hotel is included by Rocky Mountaineer.

Day 12 - Sightsee Vancouver

Today you will explore this stunning coastal city with your Hop on Hop off sightseeing pass. 

Explore Vancouver onboard clear-top buses and San Francisco-style Trolleys. This flexible Dual Pass combination of the CITY and PARK Routes offers all the highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Choose to Hop-Off at any of the 29 stops, and Hop-On again to continue the tour.
