Day 1 - UK to Calgary Transfer to Banff

Day 2 - Discover Banff & It's Wilidlife with Gondola

Today we have included the Discover Banff & It's Wildlife with the Banff Gondola. 

This small group tour is the perfect introduction to Banff and includes some of Banff's most scenic and historically significant highlights such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, and Banffs largest lake, Lake Minnewanka. Plus, enjoy hot chocolate or fresh water (depending on the time of year) and maple cookies at one of the scenic stops.

You will then be transported to the base of Sulphur Mountain and ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain at 7,486 feet. At the summit, marvel at the unsurpassed view of Banff, the Bow Valley and a 360-degree view of six scenic mountain ranges. Youll feel like you're on top of the world when you are standing on the spacious main level observation deck.  Its a great tour for seeing wildlife, so dont forget your camera!  

Day 3 - Icefields Parkway Discovery

We have included the unmissable Columbia Icefield Discovery full day tour for you today. This tour will be one of the main highlights of your trip. Expect to see an abundance of lakes, waterfalls, glaciers and wildlife. The only way to describe this tour is like driving through a picture postcard. You will have plenty of time to stop off, take a stroll and have photo opportunities at all the stops. Experience the power of glaciers up-close on this exciting tour that highlights the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies; the Columbia Icefield Adventure. Travel on a massive Ice Explorer onto an ancient glacier and step out onto ice that is deep enough to bury the Eiffel Tower. Stand in the sky at the Glacier Skywalk, a curved glass walkway that stretches 30 metres from the sheer face of a cliff and hangs mid-air. This tour is filled with exciting experiences, spectacular sights, intriguing stories and the best photo opportunities.

Day 4 - Mountain Lakes & Waterfalls

Visit the most treasured spots in the Canadian Rockies on this remarkable excursion through Banff and Yoho National Parks. Experience the evolution of land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of the spectacular natural wonders found in these mountain settings. Some of the incredible sights you will come across include the unforgettable Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the magnificent Takakkaw Falls, all surrounded by soaring mountain peaks. A BBQ lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge is included. Journey across the Great Divide and experience the awe and wonder of Yoho National Park before returning back to your start location in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie – where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.

Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Day 7 - Vancouver City Highlights Tour

This morning enjoy a city tour of Vancouver. Prepare to experience the unique history and unfolding splendour as you tour through the modern streets of Vancouver. Drive by the most renowned sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia’s imposing mountains, it’s easy to fall in love with this astonishing city. Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Stops in Stanley Park feature Indigenous Peoples’ Totem Poles, spectacular views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. Also includes the opportunity to wander through the charming farmer’s market at Granville Island.

Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore Vancouver. 

Day 8 - Board your Celebrity Alaskan Cruise

Today check out of your Vancouver hotel and make your own way to Canada Place to board the awe-inspiring Celebrity 7 night Alaskan Crusie onboard the Solstice.

Day 9 - Cruise the Inside Passage

Today cruise one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world - the Inside Passage - where ships can sail close to steep mountain walls, offering magnificent views of the unbelievable scenery from forests to evocative towns.

Day 10 - Icy Strait Point

For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view an enormous variety of wildlife including humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or explore monuments to the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 11 - Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-storey buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Day 12 - Juneau

Juneau, the capital of Alaska, has an air of mystique – a town you cannot reach by road, you need to fly or come by sea! Juneau delights with an abundance of water, forests and mountains.Situated between the Coast Mountains and the Gastineau Channel, Juneau offers a lot of variety, with the immense Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields at its back door and the Tongass National Forest stretching out to the northeast. Juneau offers a variety of activities from shopping downtown to dogsledging, hiking, whale-watching and so much more.

Day 13 - Ketchikan

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you'll long remember.

Day 14 - Crusie the Inside Passage

Cruise back along the Inside Passage and take in the breath-taking wilderness coastline, with snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, and rain forests. You may see whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and mountain sheep.

Day 15 - Vancouver to UK

Today your cruise will arrive back into Canada Place. Make your own way to Vancouver Airport for your onward flight home.
