Day 1 - Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure

Day 2 - Shanghai

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Shanghai. visiting the Shanghai Museum, the old city area of Shanghai, including the Yuyuan Garden and Longhua Temple. Continue to Tianzifang, which has gentrified itself into an bohemian area housing bars, cafes, craft shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques. Conclude the day in Xintiandi and a leisurely walk along the riverbank before transferring back to your hotel.

Day 3 - Shanghai & Zhujiajiao

Today, escape the hustle and bustle of Shanghai and drive to Zhujiajiao Water Town. It’s about 1.5 away. With over 1,000 years of history, known as “The Venice of Shanghai”, the town features beautiful waterways, arched stone bridges, ancient streets paved with stone and many houses dating back to Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.

Day 4 - Shanghai - Chengdu

You will be met at the hotel in the morning. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Chengdu. In the afternoon, you will be met by the guide in Chengdu. Explore Jinli Street, a commercial street with over 2000 years’ trading history. Here you will be able to try local Sichuan food and check out the arts and crafts in various ilocal shops and stalls. Another Chengdu highlight awaits at Renmin Park, where you have a chance to enjoy some leisure time watching locals exercise, sing, dance or play mahjong while tasting a cup of tea. Transfer to the hotel and check in.

Day 5 - Chengdu

Today you will visit the Giant Buddha located outside Chengdu City. It is about 2.5 hours away. Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest Buddha statue in the world. There you will also take a boat trip on the Min River to gain a better perspective for appreciating the Buddha. At the end of the day, you will transfer back to Chengdu for the night.

Day 6 - Chengdu - Lijiang

In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. transfer to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Observe the Pandas roll, play, eat and sleep. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Lijiang. When you arrive in Lijiang, your local guide will meet you and help you check in at your hotel.

Day 7 - Lijiang

Explore the Ancient Town of Lijiang. Wander through the local market and visit the Mu Family’s Mansion. Later, you will reach the Black Dragon Pool. If the weather is good, you may have a spectacular view of the Jade Dragon Mountain from there.

Day 8 - Lijiang

Today take the round-trip cable car at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to the top of the mountain for marvellous views. Then proceed to the Baisha Murals at Baisha Village. They were created during Ming Dynasty, the heyday of Mu Family ruling over Lijiang.  Visit the Shuhe Ancient Town before returning to Lijiang.

Day 9 - Lijiang - Guilin

Spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin. The guide there will help you check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in Guilin at leisure.

Day 10 - Guilin

Spend a full day exploring Guilin City. Visit Elephant Trunk Hill, for the days first photo opportunity. It is a perfect example of the karst landscape in the area. After lunch, visit the Reed Flute Cave. Renown as a dazzling underground palace, the Reed Flute Cave is one of Guilin city's top sites offering many stone pillars, stalactites, stalagmites, stone flowers, curtains and mushrooms etc. For the last stop today, you will pay a visit to the Seven Star Park, where you can see how the locals spend their late afternoon.

Day 11 - Guilin - Yangshuo

Today a 4-hour scenic ride on a cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. A simple lunch will be served on the cruise. On arriving in Yangshuo, you will visit West Street with many small shops and stalls. Later ride a bike through the picturesque countryside, taking in the fresh air with ample stops for pictures. Tonight, stay overnight in Yangshuo

Day 12 - Yangshuo - Hong Kong

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you and accompany you to the car back to Guilin. Then transfer to the rail station and take the high speed train to Hong Kong. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, your guide will meet you and lead you to the hotel. For lunch today, you may pack some food as most Chinese do, or order on the train however a pack lunch is advised.

Day 13 - Hong Kong

Enjoy a day of leisure exploring Hong Kong at your own pace. Perhaps take the seemingly impossibly steep peak tram to the summit of Victoria Peak for one of the most impressive city views in the world. There a re plenty of tours and excursions that can be organized, just ask your consultant.

Day 14 - Hong Kong

Today your tour concludes wit a transfer to the airport.
