Day 1 - Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok

After clearing Customs and Immigration, and collecting your baggage, please follow the signs to exit door 6, where a representative will be waiting for you holding a sign which will note your name or your agent's name. Your guide will present you with a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers and all contact information of your guide and local offices. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - Bangkok

AM Grand Palace Tour

Your cameras will be clicking non-stop at the Grand Palace. Within the walls is the Temple of The Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which houses Thailand's most precious image of the Lord Buddha. Please dress respectfully with shoulders and knees covered, and no strapless shoes.

PM Klong Tour

Bangkok's backwater canals are a throwback to a bygone era. Travelling by boat, we'll pass rickety wooden houses on stilts, waterside temples and maybe even children jumping into the murky water to cool off! We'll visit the riverside Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. The majestic shrine rises 76 metres into the sky and is decorated with glazed ceramic pieces that reflect the rising sun.

Day 3 - Bangkok

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Bangkok. Ask you consultant for ideas on optional day tours and excursions.

Day 4 - Siem Reap

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, your guide will present you with a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers and all contact information of your guide and local offices. Transfer to your hotel

Day 5 - Siem Reap

Imagine walking through a mysterious temple containing over 200 enormous smiling stone faces. Facing every angle, the eerie eyes follow you everywhere you go. Welcome to Bayon, located right in the heart of the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom. Then there's the ethereal Ta Phrom - left to the clutches of the jungle, bound by the roots of massive trees. And let's not forget romantic Banteay Srei, built from pink sandstone. To end a perfect day, we'll climb to the upper terraces of one of the ancient temples to view the sunset. Today's Highlights: Angkor Thom (Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper Kings, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas), Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei

Day 6 - Siem Reap

Be prepared to be overwhelmed as today is all about Angkor. No doubt you've seen photos of the epic Angkor Wat, the largest and most important of the Angkor Temples, full of courtyards and carvings. Then there's the ethereal Ta Phrom - left to the clutches of the jungle, bound by the roots of massive trees. And let's not forget the haunting beauty of Banteay Srei, built from pink sandstone and covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of beautiful women. But nothing can prepare you for the sheer scale and the spiritual atmosphere that you will experience when seeing these ancient monuments in real life. We will of course, visit all the above. Today's Highlights: Angkor Wat

Day 7 - Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh

Transfer to the airport for the flight to ho Chi Minh Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, your guide will present you with a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers and all contact information of your guide and local offices. Transfer to your hotel

Day 8 - Ho Chi Minh

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. These hand-dug tunnels changed the course of the Vietnam War. The well-camouflaged entrance holes lead into a network of incredibly narrow tunnels that stretch for over 200 kilometres connecting command posts, hospitals and shelters. We'll learn about the life of the Vietcong and venture into some of the tunnels. The deadly, bamboo-spiked booby traps are another must-see.

Ever-vibrant, ever-changing - this is the buzzing city of Saigon, where sleek skyscrapers loom over incense-infused temples and motorcycles rule the roads. There's classic European-style landmarks such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House, the ornate City Hall and the art-deco Post Office. Reminders of a recent past can be seen in the Reunification Palace, famously stormed by tanks in 1975. We'll visit all the main sights of the city and make time to browse the stalls in the bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh & the Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta is a watery world where everyday life floats on the rivers, canals and streams. From Cai Be, we'll board a local boat to explore the narrow waterways that cut through lush green orchards. We'll go ashore to explore a riverside village to sample locally-made, traditional treats including dried longans, rice pancakes and puffed rice candies. Today's Highlights: Boat trip through the Mekong Delta, cottage industries. Meals Included - Breakfast

Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh - Phu Quoc

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Phu Quoc. Transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
