Day 1 - Fly to Toronto

Today, fly from your chosen UK airport to Toronto for your Grand Canadian Adventure.

On arrival in Toronto, transfer to your Toronto hotel.

Day 2 - Niagara Falls Full Day Excursion

Travel on an air-conditioned motorcoach for a breath-taking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world.

Tour includes:

Day 5 - Discover Banff & its Wildlife tour

Build a connection to our World Heritage Site on our trademark sightseeing tour as you visit Banff’s landmarks and historic places. Hear how the 11,000 year old human history of the Bow Valley changed when three railway workers rediscovered the Cave & Basin, now a National Historic Site - Your time will be spent enjoying the sights, taking photos, and participating in short walks to view points, on the many stops of the tour.

Day 6 - Explore Banff

Day 7 - Icefield Discovery to Jasper

Discover Canada’s most scenic mountain roadway; The Icefields Parkway.

This is the route to over one hundred visible glaciers, turquoise lakes, and rushing waterfalls. Venture onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designed Ice Explorer for a spectacular Ice Age adventure.

Experience Jasper National Park’s newest attraction, the Glacier Skywalk. Step out onto a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley for an unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers.

Day 8 - Explore Jasper excursion

Explore the spectacular natural treasures of the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. Stand above the massive walls of Maligne Canyon for stunning views of rushing waterfalls, discover the mystery of the disappearing water at Medicine Lake and stroll the shores of Maligne Lake – all on this incredible sightseeing tour.

Day 9 - Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Kamloops

All aboard - join the Rocky Mountaineer for the first day of your 2 day journey through the Rockies:

Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops.

Day 10 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver

Travel in GoldLeaf on the Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Vancouver.

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Day 11 - Vancouver City Highlights tour

This morning we have included a 3.5 hour Vancouver City Highlights tour to help you take in the best of the city.

Prepare to experience the unique history and unfolding splendour as you tour through the modern streets of Vancouver. Drive by the most renowned sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia's imposing mountains, it's easy to fall in love with this astonishing city. Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Stops in Stanley Park feature Indigenous Peoples' Totem Poles, spectacular views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. Also includes the opportunity to wander through the charming farmer's market at Granville Island. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 12 - Explore Vancouver

Day at leisure to enjoy the delights of this vibrant, cosmopolitan city.

Day 13 - Vancouver to Victoria

Tansfer from Vancouver to Victoria by coach and ferry - transfer is included

Day 14 - Victoria Whale Watching Cruise

This coastal excursion is an exhilarating round trip of 50 to 80 kilometres in search of Orcas, minke whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. You will ride aboard a comfortable covered vessel or a custom-built zodiac boat that offers high speed with extraordinary stability giving you an exhilarating, safe and intimate whale watching experience. Comments by a certified marine biologist and naturalist are provided.

Day 15 - Victoria to Whistler

Transfer to Whistler, via floatplane for your 3 night stay at your chosen Whistler hotel. The floatplane experience is highly recommended.

Day 16 - Whistler Peak2Peak Gondola

Spanning the distance between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, the new world record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is a breath-taking, 4.4 kilometre journey to infinite possibilities. Also, visit the Peak to Peak Viewing Gallery, a raised walkway that gives you the opportunity to see the gondola’s engineering and inner workings.

The Peak 2 Peak Experience includes:

Day 18 - Transfer to Vancouver Airport - Fly to UK
