Day 1 - Arrive in Los Angeles
Arrive Los Angeles and transfer Independently to your hotel
Day 2 - Los Angeles - Mojave - Laughlin 287 miles
Drive through the Mojave Desert for Laughlin, an Oasis town bordered by the desert and the Colorado River.
Day 3 - Laughlin - Grand Canyon 200 miles
Drive a section of Route 66 then turn North for the Grand Canyon. Spend the afternoon on the South Rim, walk part of the rim trail and spend some time at one of the many photo hotspots.
Day 4 - Grand Canyon - Painted Desert -Monument Valley (Kayenta) 158 miles
Early risers can be rewarded by sunrise over the Grand Canyon, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Then travel east through the Painted Desert and Navajo Nation Indian Reservation, before arriving at the spectacular Monument Valley Tribal Park.
Day 5 - Monument Valley - Lake Powell 102 miles
Travel onwards to Lake Powell, through Black Mesa, a complex of huge mesas that cover hundreds of square miles.
Day 6 - Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon 150 miles
Bryce Canyon is famous for its unique geology, a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheatres with thousands of colourful limestone spires called "hoodoos"
Day 7 - Bryce Canyon - Las Vegas 266 miles
Spend the morning in Bryce Canyon before heading west to Las Vegas via Zion National park, known for its canyons and spectacular views.
Day 8 - Las Vegas
Enjoy a full day of leisure in Las Vegas, walk along the famous strip, dine in world class restaurants, take in the latest show and perhaps try your luck in one of the many casinos that are synonymous with Las Vegas.
Staying at Luxor
Day 9 - Las Vegas - Death Valley 150 miles
Sitting at 86 metres below sea level Death Valley is one of the hottest places in the world, a land of rugged beauty and extremes.
Day 10 - Death Valley - Yosemite 300 miles
Travel North to the High Sierra Mountains of Yosemite, famed for its sheer granite cliffs, waterfalls and giant Sequoia Trees.
Day 11 - Yosemite - Lake Tahoe 192 miles
Lake Tahoe is where California and Nevada meet, discover this pristine jewel of nature surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
Day 12 - Lake Tahoe - San Francisco 195 miles
Drive through Gold Rush era attractions, through Sacramento and onto San Francisco, perhaps take a detour en route to the wine producing Nappa Valley.
Day 13 - San Francisco
A full day to explore San Francisco and all it has to offer, options include Alcatraz Island, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square & the Iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
