Mountains and Canyons Fly-Drive

Day 1 - Denver

Arrive in the Mile High City, collect your rental vehile, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Denver

Spend the day exploring downtown Denver or take a short drive to one of the many nearby attractions, such as the Gardens of the Gods, or scenic Estes Park

Day 3 - Glenwood Springs

Traverse the might Rocky Mountains along the scenic I-70 through Vail to the quaint town of Glenwood Springs

Day 4 - Moab

Continue Westward to Moab, gateway to the stunning Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Day 5 - Moab / Arches National Park

Today take a guided tour of Arches National Park. This tour will take you into some of the remote backcountry areas of Arches, which few get to see. You will get to experience steep rock walls, sweeping sandstone dunes & fins, and meandering valleys. Along the way, you will get to see Marching Men, Tower Arch, Eye of the Whale arch, and on your way out of the Park - dinosaur tracks! All this from the comfort fully enclosed, air-conditioned, 4x4 vehicle.

Day 6 - Monument Valley / Kayenta

Drive through one of the United States most recognisable vistas, the awesome Monument Valley, Perhaps take the short detour via John Ford Point for one of the best camera angles!

Day 7 - Page./Lake Powell

Take the short drive to Page, the perfect base to explore this scenic landscape

Day 8 - Lake Powell / Page

Today take an amazing day tour to “Secret Antelope” Canyon and the breath-taking Horseshoe Bend Overlook. Secret Antelope Canyon is part of the Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon system and is still an undiscovered gem with group sizes that are limited to just a fraction of Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

It begins with boarding a shaded, open-air, 4x4 tour truck and taking a short 3 mile drive from Page, AZ on Highway 89. From here, you will exit the highway and enjoy a thrilling six mile off-road adventure drive through sandy washes, rolling hills to arrive south of Lake Powell in Secret Antelope Canyon. There you will enjoy a 300 meter nature walk to the entrance of one of the longest slot canyons to be toured on the Navajo Nation. You will have up to an hour to photograph and meander through the slot canyon and back out to the vehicle for the return ride back to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook on Navajo land.

We will avoid the congested public parking lot for Horseshoe Bend Overlook, and will take a private dirt road which leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. From here, you will have a much shorter walk to the rim and from there be able to stroll along the side of a 1000 foot drop. The undulating sandstone provides various angles and views of the Colorado River as it meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. This portion of the tour lasts approximately an hour and allows for phenomenal picture taking. From here, we will return to our office near Antelope slot canyon in Page, Arizona.

Day 9 - Lake Powell

Enjoy a day at lesiure to explore the region at your own pace.

Day 10 - Williams

Head South, thorough the old Route 66 town of Flagstaff to Williams, steeped in Route 66 history.

Day 11 - Williams / Grand Canyon

Today its all about the Grand Canyon, travel on this famous railroad in the stunning observation dome, The Observation Dome is an unforgettable experience, thanks to a glass-enclosed streamliner that offers panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. Glide through the changing landscape in the comfort of padded high-back chairs from high above the train. On arrival at the Grand Canyon, enjoy the 2.5hr Motorcoach Rim Tour, taking you to some of the most scenic spots in the area, before returning to Williams via the train.

Day 12 - Las Vegas

Head to the bright lights of Sin City, make sure to drive the scenic route along Historic 66 through the town of Peach Springs.

Day 13 - Las Vegas

Enjoy Las Vegas, indulge in some retail therapy, or take in a show.

Day 14 - Las Vegas

A final full day of leisure in Las Vegas

Day 15 - Las Vegas

Today your epic adventure concludes with a flight back to the UK, alternatively speak to your consultant with options to extend the journey onto California.
