Day 1: Lake Louise/Banff to Kamloops

Embark on an awe-inspiring rail adventure aboard the renowned Rocky Mountaineer train. Depart from the picturesque Lake Louise or Banff and traverse the majestic Canadian Rockies, surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide. Marvel at the engineering marvels of the Spiral Tunnels as you wind through the Kicking Horse Canyon. Cross over the historic Craigellachie site, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, uniting the nation from coast to coast. Your day's journey concludes in the interior city of Kamloops, nestled amidst the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges.

Day 2: Kamloops to Vancouver

Continuing westward, the train voyage takes you through British Columbia's diverse landscapes en route to the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver. Witness the stark contrast as you bid farewell to the desert-like vistas of the interior and enter the lush green valleys carved by winding rivers. Be awestruck by the cascading waters of Hell's Gate in the majestic Fraser Canyon. Traverse the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River before descending through the coastal mountains into the fertile Fraser River Valley. Your unforgettable rail odyssey culminates with an evening arrival in the vibrant coastal city of Vancouver.
