Day 4 - Cape Town - Franschhoek
Bid a fond farewell to Cape Town and take the short (around 1hr) drive to the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day exploring this picturesque wine region at leisure.

Day 6 - Franschhoek - Oudtshoorn
Travel along route 62 from Franschoek to Oudtshoorn. Oudtshoorn is the “Ostrich Capital” of the world and is the largest town in the Klein Karoo region, a semi-desert place with a reputation for its inspiring natural splendour. Perhaps visit the impressive Cango Limestone Caves?

Day 7 - Outdshoorn to Wilderness
Continue along Route 62 to the pretty town of Wilderness.

Day 10 - Plettenberg Bay
Spend the day in Plettenberg Bay. When you walk down the main road there is a flurry of bars, restaurants and boutique shopping for travellers to discover. For those interested in savouring some locally produced wine, hop along the Plett Winelands to tantalize the taste buds and for the daring, trips to the Mampoer and Witblits distillery are an exciting day’s excursion.

Continue eastwards, completing Route 62 in Port Elizabeth. Vanture onwards to the stunning game reserve of Shamari for the next 3 nights.

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, check out and drive to Port Elizabeth. Your tour conlcudes after your hire car is returned in Port Elizabeth.
