Day 1 - Cape Town
Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Cape Town
Day 2 - Cape Town
Enjoy Cape Town at your leisure, speak to your consultant with regard to the many day trips and excursions that are available

Day 3 - Cape Town
Enjoy Cape Town at your leisure, speak to your consultant with regard to the many day trips and excursions that are available. At an agreed time, your hire car will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 4 - Cape Town - Franschhoek
Bid a fond farewell to Cape Town and take the short (around 1hr) drive to the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day exploring this picturesque wine region at leisure.
Day 5 - Franschhoek
Spend the day sampling the wonderful scenery and epicurean delights of Franschhoek. Cafes, restaurants and wineries are all on hand delivering delicious African fare.

Day 6 - Franschhoek - Oudtshoorn
Travel along route 62 from Franschoek to Oudtshoorn. Oudtshoorn is the “Ostrich Capital” of the world and is the largest town in the Klein Karoo region, a semi-desert place with a reputation for its inspiring natural splendour. Perhaps visit the impressive Cango Limestone Caves?
Day 7 - Outdshoorn to Wilderness
Continue along Route 62 to the pretty town of Wilderness.
Day 8 - Wilderness
Spend a day at leisure in the hotel, or at one of the nearby beaches. Expect to be pampered and preened and take advantage of the Moroccan Rasul steam room, the vitality pool and the herbal sauna.

Day 9 - Wilderness - Plettenberg Bay
Take in a section of the Garden Route today by venturing to Plettenberg Bay. The town boasts 20 kilometres of beautiful Indian Ocean coastline with six beaches of which many are Blue Flag accredited, allowing visitors to enjoy an unspoilt beach holiday
Day 10 - Plettenberg Bay
Spend the day in Plettenberg Bay. When you walk down the main road there is a flurry of bars, restaurants and boutique shopping for travellers to discover. For those interested in savouring some locally produced wine, hop along the Plett Winelands to tantalize the taste buds and for the daring, trips to the Mampoer and Witblits distillery are an exciting day’s excursion.

Day 11 - Complete Route 62
Continue eastwards, completing Route 62 in Port Elizabeth. Vanture onwards to the stunning game reserve of Shamari for the next 3 nights.
Day 12 - Shamwari Safari
Between thrilling game drives, you can lounge at one of two swimming pools or read in the garden lounge. A more decadent option would be treatments in the tranquil spa. Long Lee Manor exudes an enviable luxury.

Day 14 - Shawari - Port Elizabeth.
After your final morning game drive and breakfast, check out and drive to Port Elizabeth. Your tour conlcudes after your hire car is returned in Port Elizabeth.
