Day 2 - Moraine Lake & Lake Louise Sunrise

It's an early start as we have included a visit to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise to watch the sunrise!

On this small group experience, you'll have exclusive access to Moraine Lake, now closed to public vehicle access, where your expert local guide will show you to the best locations to watch the sunrise hit the glaciers above The Valley of the Ten Peaks and the stunning Moraine Lake. Sip on a hot chocolate, coffee or tea as you eagerly await the sunrise under a blanket (all complimentary), and utilize your expert local guides' photography skills & knowledge to fine-tune your camera settings for an amazing sunrise photoshoot. Then, explore the trails of Moraine Lake before all the big buses arrive. Travel through backroads where bears, moose, and elk can often be seen starting their day, on the way to Lake Louise Village where a delicious hot coffee breakfast awaits. After fuelling up for the day, you'll make your way to Lake Louise, well before the buses arrive to enjoy what remains of the early tranquility and witness the lake at its calmest, resulting in perfect mirror images of Victoria Glacier and the Rockies reflecting back at you across the neon blue waters.

Day 3 - Icefields Parkway Discovery

We have included the unmissable Columbia Icefield Discovery full day tour for you today. This tour will be one of the main highlights of your trip. Expect to see an abundance of lakes, waterfalls, glaciers and wildlife. The only way to describe this tour is like driving through a picture postcard. You will have plenty of time to stop off, take a stroll and have photo opportunities at all the stops. Experience the power of glaciers up-close on this exciting tour that highlights the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies; the Columbia Icefield Adventure. Travel on a massive Ice Explorer onto an ancient glacier and step out onto ice that is deep enough to bury the Eiffel Tower. Stand in the sky at the Glacier Skywalk, a curved glass walkway that stretches 30 metres from the sheer face of a cliff and hangs mid-air. This tour is filled with exciting experiences, spectacular sights, intriguing stories and the best photo opportunities.

Day 4 - Mountain Lakes & Waterfalls

Visit the most treasured spots in the Canadian Rockies on this remarkable excursion through Banff and Yoho National Parks. Experience the evolution of land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of the spectacular natural wonders found in these mountain settings. Some of the incredible sights you will come across include the unforgettable Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the magnificent Takakkaw Falls, all surrounded by soaring mountain peaks. A BBQ lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge is included. Journey across the Great Divide and experience the awe and wonder of Yoho National Park before returning back to your start location in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie – where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.

Overnight in Kamloops. Breakfast and Lunch included.

Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Day 7 - Vancouver City Highlights Tour

This morning enjoy a city tour of Vancouver. Prepare to experience the unique history and unfolding splendour as you tour through the modern streets of Vancouver. Drive by the most renowned sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia’s imposing mountains, it’s easy to fall in love with this astonishing city. Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Located just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view an enormous variety of wildlife including humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or explore monuments to the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 11 - Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-storey buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Day 12 - Juneau

Juneau, the capital of Alaska, has an air of mystique – a town you cannot reach by road, you need to fly or come by sea! Juneau delights with an abundance of water, forests and mountains.Situated between the Coast Mountains and the Gastineau Channel, Juneau offers a lot of variety, with the immense Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields at its back door and the Tongass National Forest stretching out to the northeast. Juneau offers a variety of activities from shopping downtown to dogsledging, hiking, whale-watching and so much more.

Day 13 - Ketchikan

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you'll long remember.

Day 14 - Crusie the Inside Passage

Cruise back along the Inside Passage and take in the breath-taking wilderness coastline, with snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, and rain forests. You may see whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and mountain sheep.
