The hotel connects indoors to Casino Niagara and an indoor waterpark, both handy on a wet day, and it's an easy walk from there to Queen Victoria Park and the entertainment strip of Clifton Hill. Boat tours and observation towers over the Falls are also within a few minutes on foot, and the town centre's wider choice of shops and restaurants sits close by too. Toronto Pearson International Airport is around a 90-minute drive away, making this a straightforward stop whether you're self-driving through Ontario or building it into a longer Canada itinerary, and the wine country within Niagara-on-the-Lake is a short onward drive if you want to extend your stay in the region.
Our Canada Product Manger Laura loved her stay at the Sheraton Fallsview. If you’re wondering where to stay in Niagara Falls, I can’t recommend this base highly enough. We spent two nights in a Fallsview room, looking across to both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. We expected the view, but what surprised me was opening the window and hearing the Falls too. Sheraton Fallsview is one of the hotels we regularly book for our clients, and having stayed here myself, I’d always suggest asking for a Fallsview room.
It suits solo travellers, couples and families alike. My daughter and I loved our buffet breakfasts, watching the Falls while a chef cooked fresh omelettes, and there’s a coffee and pastry stop just off the lobby plus an ice cream spot where we spent ages choosing toppings. The indoor waterpark keeps children happy and Casino Niagara is there for the adults, both reached by an indoor walkway. Don’t miss the rooftop pool in season. It’s ideal for unwinding after a busy day at the attractions, with a drink from the poolside bar as the fireworks light up the sky.
