Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains Banff is the perfect location for exploring some of Alberta’s most scenic sights. Banff is home to an abundance of picturesque lakes, some of Banff's top lakes to visit include Lake Minniewanka, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake. To get the best view of the Rocky Mountains take a journey up Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola giving you a 360 view of the mountains.
Icefields Parkway
The drive from Banff to Jasper is one of the most scenic drives in the world. With plenty of locations to stop at including Columbia Icefield, Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Falls, Mount Edith Cravel and more.We highly recommend taking your time travelling along the Icefield Parkway and recommend stopping at a campsite along the parkway and having 2 days exploring.
Jasper is the perfect location for wildlife spotting, with its remote location there is plenty of wilderness to explore away from the main townsite, look out for Elk, Moose, Bear, Eagles and more. Away from the wildlife Jasper offers a great variety of outdoor activities including hiking, white water rafting, canyoning.
Located in Alberta’s Badlands Drumheller was once where dinosaurs roamed freely, visit Royal Tyrrell Museum home to one of the world’s largest dinosaurs displays. Drumheller’s unique feature is the HooDoos, a great way to view them is along The Hoodoo Trail.
Canada’s most well-known lake is Lake Louise known for it’s blue dazzling waters which are overlooked by towering mountains, you can enjoy a canoe ride out across the lake.
