This is Canada’s oldest and flagship national park located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Banff's top lakes to visit include Lake Minnewanka, Bow Lake and Peyto Lake. To get the best view of the Rocky Mountains take a journey up Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola giving you a 360 view of the mountains.
Icefields Parkway
This is one of the most stunning and scenic driving routes in the world. Linking Banff with Jasper, this 232km stretch in a UNESCO World Heritage Site takes you through mountain peaks, sweeping valleys and icefields. In order to fully appreciate your surroundings in your RV or Motorhome, we highly recommend taking your time travelling along the Icefield Parkway and suggest stopping at a campsite to have 2 days exploring.
The largest park in the Rockies, Jasper National Park covers over 11,000 square km and has practically untouched alpine wilderness. It is the perfect location for wildlife spotting and its remote location offers plenty of wilderness to explore away from the main townsite - look out for elk, moose, bears, eagles and more. If you’re looking for outdoor activities, Jasper offers a great variety including hiking, whitewater rafting, canyoning.
Located in Alberta’s Badlands Drumheller was once where dinosaurs roamed freely, visit Royal Tyrrell Museum home to one of the world’s largest dinosaurs displays. Drumheller’s unique feature is the HooDoos, a great way to view them is along The Hoodoo Trail.
Known for its sparkling blue waters, this is the Crown Jewel of the Rockies. It’s one of the most photographed lakes in the world. Around 2.5km long and 90m deep, it offers a surreal paddling experience in the summer.
