I grew up with a keen desire to travel and was fortunate enough to have well-travelled women in my family that made Australia, America, Canada and the far East all seem within easy reach. As a teenager I had already seen some of Americans greatest cities, travelled the Pacific coast highway and watched the locals surf Waikiki beach. When my opportunity came to venture alone, I had the luxury of time and freedom. I spent a solid seven years abroad, living, working and travelling across six continents. Some destinations very well known, others certainly more off the beaten track but all incredible experiences.
The passion to travel has never diminished, spending the past ten years assisting and encouraging others to fulfil their travel dreams, I have as much enthusiasm for over landing through Patagonia, planning a North American fly drive or discussing the benefits of an overwater villa in the Maldives. It is certainly a joy to share my experiences of Canada, the scenery, cities, people and wealth of experiences make it my number one destination... getting there for the Calgary Stampede is a cherry on top!
