Q: What will the weather be like during my city break?
A: It depends where and when you go, but summers are generally warm in all of Canada’s main cities. Winters are cold, but Vancouver on the Pacific Coast has a relatively mild climate throughout the year.
Q: How many days should I spend on a city break?
A: It really comes down to where you are travelling to and how long you wish to stay in Canada. If you are visiting one of the major cities, then you could spend three to four days exploring as there is so much to do. Other cities are equally well worth a visit but there may be less to see. Canada is a very big country, so a trip combining several cities could last for one to two weeks. Speak to one of our experts for advice on the best duration for your holiday.
Q: Do I need to tip on my city break?
Tipping is not mandatory but generally expected in Canadian cities. In most cases, a tip in the range of 15 per cent to 20 per cent is perfectly acceptable.
