The Flinders Ranges cover about 380 kilometres and make for some of the best treks and trails in this part of the world. It’s villages, valleys and ridges make for beautiful pictures as you explore this region. This can be nicely contrasted to the rolling vineyards of the Barossa Valley where you can sample crisp white and deep flavoured wines. A great way to finish a long trek!

Day 2 - Adelaide

Enjoy a full day to explore Adelaide. Perhaps take a walk along North Terrace, home to the Art Gallery of South Australia, and the South Australia Museum. Foodies should visit the Central Market, showcasing the freshest artisan produce from the region.

Day 3 - Adelaide - Flinders Ranges

Collect your car and head north to the beautiful Flinders Ranges, perhaps stop off en route in the Clare Valley, which features over 50 cellar doors, between the villages of Auburn and Clare.

Day 4 - Flinders Ranges

Spend a full day enjoying the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges, with its fantastic walking trails and wildlife. There’s also an option for a scenic flight tour.

Day 6 - Flinders Ranges - Barossa

Today head to one of Australia’s most famous wine producing areas, the Barossa Valley, with more than 150 wineries and 80 cellar doors.

Enjoy a full day in the Barossa, sampling the fine wines and gastronomic delights of the region.

Day 8 - Barossa Valley - Kangaroo Island

Take the short drive to Cape Jervis and catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Often referred to as Australia’s natural zoo, its brimming with wildlife, some of which are unique to the island.

Day 9 - Kangaroo Island

Spend a full day exploring Kangaroo Island, along side the scenery and amazing wildlife, there’s a fantastic gourmet scene, with freshly caught seafood and local cheeses being amongst the specialities.
