Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur

Meet and greet by your chauffer and guide upon arrival at KUL International Airport. Proceed with the land transfer to your hotel in the city. Check in, remaining day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur

Morning Tour - Forgotten Trails of Kuala Lumpur

Think of Kuala Lumpur and what comes to the mind are the Twin Towers, modern high-rise skyscrapers and the busy, modern streets. Take a look behind the modern high-rise skyscrapers and discover the forgotten trails of KL. Start at a typical Malay village "Kampung Baru", and stroll down the streets where Malaysian style food stalls sprout like mushrooms. Marvel at the contrast of traditional small Malay houses against the backdrop of the famous KL twin towers and huge skyscrapers. Stop at one of the food stalls and try some local Malay sweets or cakes. Following this, venture into Chow Kit Market, home to one of the largest wet markets and where housewives and hawkers haggle over prices. Walk into the heart of the action and explore where the Chinese, Malays and Indian traders have set up their poultry, beef, flowers, seafood and fruit stalls. Then discover Little India as you walk past the jewellery and saree shops. Visit the beautiful Masjid Jamek mosque and then continue to Chinatown and admire a Chinese Temple, and an Indian Temple. Finish the tour with a visit to a traditional Chinese Tea House in Chinatown. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3 - Malacca

Day Tour - Malacca with River Cruise

Malacca was conferred the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 7 July 2008. On a full day tour of Malacca, you travel back through more than 600 years of history. The city was formerly under colonial rule by the Portuguese, Dutch and the British. This heritage trail begins with a visit to St. Peter’s Church (1710), the oldest Christian church still in use in Malaysia today. Next, drive past the largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China. Then, we stop to admire two iconic structures, the landmark gateway “Porta de Santiago” and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church. St Paul’s Church lies buried between the 17th-century Dutch tombstones. Porta de Santiago was a fortress built by the Portuguese in 1511 and is also known as “A Famosa. The final stop is to explore Stadyhus (1641 –1660), also known as the “Red Square” due to the salmon pink colour of the building. It was once a Dutch Administration centre which today houses the Malacca Museum and some government offices.

We slow down to enjoy a 40-minute boat ride on the Malacca River. This journey passes a number of heritage buildings situated along the river and traditional fishing villages. After the cruise, stroll to Cheng Hoon Teng, an ancient Chinese Temple, before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, wander along Malacca’s antique row known as Jonker Street. All sorts of antiques are on display, at a reasonable price here, along with art galleries, souvenir shops, dried food shops, and more.

Day 4 - Kuala Lumpur - Langkawi

Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Langkawi, on arrival transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 - Langkawi

Morning Tour - Langkawi Village Cycling Experience

Explore the local attractions and beauty of Langkawi Island on a bicycle. Cycle with us through Langkawi Island and get a glimpse of daily village life as we journey from rustic Malay Kampongs, through the rubber estates and scenic paddy fields. Among the highlights of the tour are local Malay villages, old Makcik’s (Aunty) house in a Malay village, rubber estates, paddy fields, a fishing village, local market and the Gamat and Tongkat Ali stalls.
