Day 1 - Arrive Jersey City

Day 2 - Jersey City

Begin your day with a fresh bagel at one of the many eateries in the Gateway Region, then set out to explore vibrant spots like Jersey City, Newark, Hoboken, Montclair, or Weehawken. Don’t miss the chance to take the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island.

Day 3 - Jersey City to Morristown

As you leave the city and head towards Morristown, make a stop at the impressive Paterson Great Falls. Day 4 - Morristown to Philadelphia

Day 5 - Philadelphia

Day 7 - Countryside of Philadelphia to Washington DC

Today you are heading towards the capital of the USA: Washington DC. On the little bit over three-hour drive you will pass by Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland. Washington DC awaits you with all its Smithsonian Museums, the Capitol, the White House, Monuments, tons of historic places, unique neighbourhoods, fine cuisine, and great shopping and entertainment.

Day 9 - Washington DC to Cape May

Set off in the morning and enjoy a breakfast stop in charming Annapolis, Maryland. If you’d like to travel by ferry, head to the Lewes Ferry Terminal in Delaware just be sure to book a reservation in advance and enjoy the scenic ride to Cape May, New Jersey. Alternatively, you can drive directly to Cape May. Once there, take time to visit the historic Cape May Lighthouse and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Sunset Beach before nightfall. In the evening, dine at one of Cape May’s renowned restaurants or savour fresh seafood at a local favourite.

Day 10 - Cape May

Spend a relaxing day at the beach and take a stroll through the charming streets of Victorian Cape May. Rent a bike or hop on a trolley tour to discover more about this historic seaside town.
