A full day to explore Brisbane at leisure, enjoy the cafes and galleries of South bank, or perhaps take an optional day tour to Moreton Island to view the dolphins.

Day 3 - Brisbane to Noosa

Pick up your car, depart Brisbane and begin your epic road trip along the Queensland Coast. First stop is Noosa, renowned for its beautiful beach and bohemian Hastings Street, the heart of the town, filled with cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques, day spa’s and galleries

Day 4 - Noosa

Spend a full day enjoying the laid back vibes of Noosa. Take a swim in the inviting waters at Main Beach, explore Hastings Street, or stroll along the costal boardwalk leading to Noosa National Park.

Day 5 - Noosa - Hervey Bay

Take the short drive onwards to Hervey Bay, Queensland’s whale watching capital (Jul-Nov) and gateway to Fraser Island.

Day 6 - Hervey Bay

A full day to explore Hervey Bay and its surrounding earlier, between July and November, take to the seas on a whale watch cruise or visit nearby Fraser Island, the worlds largest sand island.

Day 7 - Hervey Bay - Rockhampton

Rise early and continue northward to Rockhampton, giving yourself time to explore the Capricorn Caves, just north of the city.

Day 8 - Rockhampton - Airlie Beach

Embark upon the longest drive of the itinerary today with Airlie Beach in your sights. A small side trip to the Eungella National Park, can reward visitors with bush walking tracks and a chance to view the elusive platypus in its natural habitat.

Day 9 - Airlie Beach

Spend a full day exploring the area at leisure, perhaps take a cruise to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands. Take a cruise around this tropical paradise, or splash out on a scenic flight. There’s also a once in a lifetime option to spend the night in a swag on the great barrier reef.
