The Red Centre can be found in the southern part of the Northern Territory right at the heart of Australia and deep in the outback. The vast scale of this area is almost hard to imagine as it stretches into the distance and past. It’s home to the ancient aboriginal site of Ayers Rock, the well-known Kings Canyon at the western end of the George Gill Range in Watarrka National Park and Alice Springs. This area isn’t just about natural wonders it is also the home to fully working cattle ranches.

Arrive in Alice and collect your car. The rest of the day is at leisure, perhaps visit the famous Telegraph Station or Royal Flying Doctor Service

Day 2 - Alice Springs to Kings Canyon

Early risers can take advantage of an optional Ballooning sunrise excursion, a unique way to appreciate the epic vastness of the red centre. Drive on to Kings Canyon through the iconic unworldly red dust.
