Woodstock Experiences

Steeped in New England character and the picturesque beauty of the Green Mountains, Woodstock, Vermont is a colourful, four-season destination that harnesses the spirit of independence and craftsmanship. Stroll in the pedestrian village, wander the backroads of Vermont’s countryside and experience the abundant treasures of Woodstock for yourself.

Below is a small selection of the tours we can organise for you when you have booked your USA holiday with us and are visiting Woodstock.

Inspiring and engaging generations through shared stories of Vermont’s rural culture and our continued practice of responsible agriculture is Billings Farm & Museum’s mission and purpose.

As the premier gateway for interpreting Vermont’s rural culture and agrarian heritage, Billings Farm offers diverse, interactive programs that focus on rural life, work, and land stewardship as reflected in the traditions and values of 19th century farm families. We also showcase the progressive improvements advanced by Frederick Billings during the late 19th century. The Farm & Museum features the farm of the historic Billings estate and serves as the agricultural counterpart to Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.

The family-friendly terrain at Saskadena Six Ski Area (formerly Suicide 6) sets the tone for a classic winter day of snowboarding in the mountains, with gentle terrain perfectly suited for beginners. Suicide Six was one of the earliest ski resorts to embrace snowboarding, and it continues to welcome both skiers and snowboarders to its downhill slopes and two newly updated terrain parks. There are 3 lifts servicing 24 trails ? 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced ? with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet.  Rentals, repairs, lessons and a cozy base lodge are all available on-site.

Our 3 generation Luce Family Farm is famous for its excellent waxed cheeses and pure maple syrup made right on the farm. The 500 acre farm is located on a scenic road in central Vermont outside Woodstock.  You'll find free samples of 15 kinds of cheese, 4 grades of maple syrup and the farm store is full of jams, mustard's, spreads and meats made locally.  Maple syrup is made in the Spring but folks can enjoy the self tour to see where it is actually made.
