Situated in southern Saskatchewan the park offers solitude with a wide range of hiking trails to explore the history of the land including dinosaur fossils, tipi rings, bison drive rings and more. Join a guided tour to provide insightful information of the land and make sure to look out for bison, short-horned lizard and black tail prairie dogs who roams the land.
Cyprus Hills Interprovincial Park
Stretching across Saskatchewan and Alberta, Cyprus Hills offers a wide range of activities to enjoy including ziplining, hiking, cycling trails and more. The gentle rolling hills break up Saskatchewan’s mainly flat landscape, providing fantastic advantage points to view Saskatchewan’s diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna.
Prince Albert National Park
Located in northern Saskatchewan, Prince Albert National Park is a mixture of aspen parkland, boreal forest and grasslands, this unique landscape offers breath-taking views. At Waskesiu Lake you can enjoy canoeing and kayaking, follow the hiking and cycling trails or enjoy swimming and relax at the beaches dotted along the lake. The park is a wildlife sanctuary, look out for beavers, bison, black bears just to name a few.
Regina
The capital of Saskatchewan, Regina is a trendy city filled with history, culture and lots of local eateries to explore. Regina is the birthplace of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police also known as Mounties, visit the RCMP Heritage Centre where you can delve deeper into the history and significance in Canada and in the media.
