Quebec City Experiences

With its alluring setting atop Cape Diamond (Cap Diamant), Quebec is a city of delightfully stark, yet virtually seamless contrasts; centuries-old fortification walls lead to chic open-kitchen restaurants, and cobblestone streets give way to bike paths and innovative art institutions. The capital of Quebec province, and one of the oldest cities in North America, Quebec City received a major face lift before its 400th anniversary in 2008.

Below is a small selection of the tours we can organise for you when you have booked your Canada holiday with us and are visiting Quebec City.

Duration: 2 hours

In the company of a professional Quebec guide, this English only Quebec City walking tour will lead you on a leisurely descending path through all the important sites of Old Quebec. Its content is such that people travelling on their own, in small groups, or Quebec City dwellers will enjoy The Grand Tour.

Over the course of approximately two hours, The Grand Tour covers the architecture, the marking events and the Quebec people's history. It meanders next to Quebec historical sites such as the Citadel/musée royal 22 e régiment, Chateau Frontenac, Quebec fortifications, Place Royale and uncovers many hidden Quebec sites!

Tour duration: approximately 11 hours (3 hours whale watching)

Have a unique encounter with nature in the heart of the Saguenay St. Lawrence Marine Park. On this cruise you have the opportunity to see the world's most fascinating and majestic creatures in an exceptional panorama.

Duration: 2 hours

Travel back in time to rural Quebec and enjoy the view! As you ride along the 40 kilometers of Chemin du Roy to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupr, you will pass through the many traditional villages of rural Quebec. In Sainte-Anne-de- Beaupr, you will be given time to visit the world famous Shrine. You will also stop at the Montmorency Falls (1 1/2 times higher than Niagara Falls). Just as you think your day is over, you will be treated to a short visit on the Island of Orleans, discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1535, where the picturesque village of Sainte-Petronille, with its 19th century rural atmosphere, waits to be rediscovered again.
