Traveling along Milford Road is one of the finest alpine drives in the world. The scenery is exceptional, ranging from broad grassy flats, dense rainforests, and towering mountains to glacial lakes and alpine herb fields.

You will travel by coach from Te Anau to Milford Sound along the spectacular Milford Road. Photo stops will be made along the way into Milford, with an additional photo stop and a short walk on the return journey. On reaching Milford Sound, you will join a cruise of Milford Sound exploring the full length of the fiord, past St Anne's Point Lighthouse and right out to the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). A dedicated Nature Guide provides informative commentary. Following the cruise, reboard your coach and return to Te Anau.
