Situated on the stunning Otago Peninsula, Larnach Castle Lodge is a lovely new recreation of a colonial farm building set in 35 acres of award winning Larnach Castle gardens and grounds.

The castle offers spectacular views of Otago Harbour and Peninsula and is the perfect location to explore some of Dunedin's unique wildlife attractions, such as the Albatross Colony and the Yellow-Eyed Penguin Reserve. A pleasant 20 minutes’ drive takes you into the heart of Dunedin City. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the historic stables, or dinner in a castle dining room, adding to this unique accommodation experience.

Nestled on the spectacular Otago Peninsula, Larnach Castle is Dunedin's must see visitor attraction. You can visit the Castle and discover its rich history that dates back to 1871 as well as explore the exquisite gardens, which have attained a Garden of International Significance award from the New Zealand Gardens Trust.
