Day 1 - UK to Calgary
Arrive in Calgary making your own way to your Calgary hotel.
It’s recommended to have one night before collecting your RV after coming off an international flight, to ensure you are fully rested before you begin your road trip.

Day 2 - Calgary to Banff (129km)
Today check out of your Calgary hotel and make your way to the Calgary RV depot. After collecting your RV it’s time to begin your road trip to Banff.
On route you will begin to leave the city behind as you travel towards the Rocky Mountains. A great place to stop on route is Canmore a picturesque summer town in Alberta, enjoy a stop to explore the local scenery and why not enjoy a bite to eat at one of the local cafes before continuing to Banff.

Day 3 - Explore Banff
Today is your first full day in Banff, this town is in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Banff has lots of great activities to enjoy including the Banff Gondola, here you can enjoy a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain providing fantastic views across the town of Banff. Afterwards enjoy some time relaxing in the Banff Upper Hot Springs. Banff is surrounded by plenty natural surroundings including Bow Lake and Lake Minnewanka.

Day 4 - Banff
Another day to explore the highlights of Banff.
Day 5 - Banff to Cline River (179km)
Departing Banff today and begin to travel north to your next stop Cline River. On route make sure to stop at one of Canada’s most pictured lake, Lake Louise. Continue your journey through the Rocky Mountains there is lots of great place to stop on route to take photos and enjoy the views.
Arriving at Cline River where you will stay for the night.
Day 6 - Cline River to Jasper (197km)
This morning enjoy visiting the sights of Cline River before departing for Jasper. You will drive along the icefield’s parkway one of Western Canada’s scenic routes, along the way visit the Columbia Icefields. At the icefields you will have the opportunity to stand on a glacier. Continuing north you will see some more spectacular scenery including Mount Edith Cavell also keep a lookout for local wildlife you may spot moose, elk or bears.
Arriving at Jasper in the evening where you will spend the next 3-nights.
Day 7 - Explorer Jasper
Jasper is the most northerly of towns located in the National Parks straddling the Rocky Mountains. It is less commercialized than Banff, but still offers a wonderful visit, especially for the outdoor enthusiast.
There are places to rent canoes and lots of venues perfect for a day hike. Sunwapta Falls are thrilling to see as the power of the water cascading down the rocky cliffs is deafening as well as humbling. As well, Maligne Canyon is a spectacular sight, This is a very deep canyon with all sorts of twists and turns down among the rocks. The rocks have been worn smooth by the force of the water rushing through its narrow channels.
When the light reflects off of the shiny rocks, it creates a challenge for a keen photographer. There is a bit of a climb up to the viewing areas, but you will find it well worthwhile. For fishing and boat touring, a visit to Maligne Lake and Spirit Island is an enjoyable day out. Allow an hour for the trip there from Jasper. Look out for wildlife along the route.

Day 8 - Jasper
Another full day to explore Jasper.
Day 9 - Jasper to Clearwater (318km)
Departing Jasper make your way into British Columbia as you travel to Clearwater, there is lots of great places to visit along the way. As you start to leave Jasper you will drive past Mount Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continuing along the route make a stop at Blue River, home to an abundance of flora and fauna a great location to stop for lunch during your travels. Arriving in Clearwater where you will stay for the next 2-nights.
Day 10 - Explore Clearwater
Clearwater is known as ‘Canada’s Waterfall Park’ due to being home to 39 different waterfalls as well as 6 lakes and 4 rivers. Helmcken Falls is Canada’s fourth highest waterfall and is a must visit when in the area. There is plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in Clearwater including white water rafting.
Day 11 - Clearwater to Revelstoke (275km)
Departing Clearwater this morning to travel to Revelstoke, travelling along the Yellowhead Highway on route you will travel along the North Thompson River. Enjoy a stop at Little Fort here and enjoy a walk around the lake or enjoy some lunch at one of the local cafes and restaurants. Continuing on your journey to reach Revelstoke, this is a perfect all year-round destination. In the summer enjoy a range of outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and white-water rafting.
Day 12 - Explore Revelstoke
Today enjoy exploring Revelstoke, in the Revelstoke area itself, you can drive up to a parking lot at Balsam Lake, high on Mount Revelstoke and hike for a short distance to the summit area. There are terrific opportunities for photography up here. This mountain area has an historic fire tower that you can visit on your hike around the summit. Revelstoke has about 60 historic edifices and at least two dozen of these buildings are in easy walking distance of each other in the downtown district.
Day 13 - Revelstoke to Nelson (250km)
Departing Revelstoke today traveling along the Trans Canda Highway there is lots of great locations along route to enjoy. You will pass lots of amazing scenery as you follow the Columbia River, highlights along the route includes Ione Falls. Arriving in the town of Nelson for your overnight stay, Nelson is known for its heritage structures with historical building dating back to 1800s, walking along Nelson you will feel you have taken a step back in time. As well as a rich history Nelson is also surrounded by spectacular scenery with the Selkirk Mountains a popular place for mountain bikers. Larch Valley is also the perfect place to enjoy a hike through the forests.
Day 14 - Nelson to Oliver (283km)
Enjoy sometime this morning exploring Nelson before travelling onward to Oliver, driving through the Kootenay Rockies. There is lots of fantastic place to explore on route, highlights along the way includes Christina Lake and Osoyoos. In Osoyoos enjoy visiting Osoyoos Lake and keeping a lookout for Ogopogo the lake monster which is believed to be living in the lake according to Canadian Folklore. Enjoy a visit to Nk’mip Desert Culture Centre, here you can learn more about Osoyoos and the First Nations culture and heritage.
Arrive at Oliver located within the Okanagan Valley, the town is known as ‘Wine Capital of Canada’. Enjoy visiting local wineries and tasting all the different wines which are available.
Day 15 - Explore Oliver
There is more to explore in Oliver away from wineries, there is a variety of trails hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers will enjoy exploring. For a more leisurely stroll enjoy a walk along Okanagan River leading to the more challenging hikes of Mount Baldy and McIntyre Bluff.
Day 16 - Oliver to Manning Provincial Park (190km)
Departing Oliver travelling along Highway 3A to Manning Provincial Park. Located in the heart of the Cascade Mountains offering fantastic scenery. The park has plenty of walking trails nearby or enjoy swimming in Lighting Lake or enjoy taking a canoe out on the lake.
Day 17 - Manning Provincial Park to UK (219km)
Today depart Manning Provincial Park returning your RV before your onward flight from Vancouver Airport.
