Starting in Perth, visit Rottnest Island, famous for its cute and photogenic Quokka’s, journey onwards to South Australia where the Barossa Valley and the outdoor zoo of Kangaroo Island await. Finish your walkabout in New South Wales, home to Sydney and a chance to stay on a family owned and run vineyard in the Hunter Valley.

Day 3 - Perth & Rottnest

Take a full day tour to Rottnest Island. This tour will provide you with an insight into Rottnest’s cultural and historical heritage, diverse wildlife and fauna and social heritage. You will also have a chance to step outside and have a stroll along the boardwalk at the majestic look-out point at West End.

Day 5 - Adelaide

A full day of leisure to enjoy the epicurean delights of Adelaide. Perhaps visit the Adelaide Central Market, filled with farm fresh fruit & veg, artisan cheese, smoked meats 7 seafood, perfect for a picnic in the nearby Botanic Gardens. Alternatively peruse the fare in Adelaide’s laneways, teeming with small independent bars, cafes and restaurants.

Day 6 - Adelaide & the Barossa Valley

Enjoy a full day tour of the world-famous wine region of the Barossa Valley, steeped in history and German heritage, swathed in rolling landscapes of vines, orchards, pasture and bushland and full of great characters. Discover the rich bounty of the Adelaide Hills with its charming villages, so close to the city. Explore the enchanting town of historic Hahndorf with its unique Bavarian ambiance.

Day 7 - Adelaide to Kangaroo Island

Take a 2-night 3 day tour from Adelaide to explore Kangaroo Island, one of Australia's finest nature based destinations, in the comfort of a modern touring coach. Experience the wildlife, spectacular coastal scenery, delicious local produce and unique landscape.

Morning hotel pick up. Coach transfer to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Board your luxury SeaLink coach for the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for a talk and tour. Continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro for a delicious two course lunch. After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk with a National Park Ranger amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Australian sea lions. Then visit another amazing wildlife attraction, the fascinating In - flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain. Then on to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play and hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies. You will then be transferred back to your chosen overnight accommodation

Day 8 - Kangaroo Island

After breakfast, visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice - cream and honey beauty products. Next, travel to Hanson Bay Visitor Centre & Café for a scrumptious two course lunch. After lunch you have the chance to look for Koalas nestled up in the eucalypts and see an abundance of native birdlife in the wildlife sanctuary. From here, travel to the western most part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park. You will be taken to the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long - nosed Fur Seals that can be seen swimming and playing in the waves or resting on the rocks.

Day 9 - Kangaroo Island to Adelaide

Early this morning you will be collected from your accommodation and transferred to Penneshaw SeaLink Ferry Terminal for you return ferry and coach transfer to Adelaide, where the rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 12 - Sydney to Hunter Valley

Take an overnight rail tour to the Hunter Valley Resort, on 70 secluded acres this family run winery has been delighting visitors for years. The package includes, return economy express train tickets from Sydney Central Railway Station to Singleton Railway Station. Entry to Hunter Wine Theatre experience. Overnight accommodation at Hunter Valley Resort (B&B). Onsite vineyard inspection followed by wine tasting with resort's Cellarmaster. Return transfers from Hunter Valley Resort to Singleton Railway Station.
