Day 13 - Napier to Taupo (142km/90 miles)
After checking out of your Napier hotel, continue your road trip to the town of Taupo situated beside Lake Taupo. Spending the rest of the day at lesuire. Lake Taupo is a beautiful crystal green lake; the full lake is the size of Singapore. It was created two thousand years ago from a volcanic eruption. There is wide variety of activities to enjoy including water-skiing, kayaking, and sailing. A highlight of Taupo is the magnificent Huka Falls where more than 220,000 tons of water fall over the cliffs.
