Day 8 - Ushuaia

Ushuaia, Argentina – the world’s southernmost city. In summer, enjoy up to 18 hours of daylight to take in dramatic glaciers, forests and sea, framed by rugged peaks. Once a missionary outpost and penal colony, it’s now a lively gateway to adventure.

Explore Tierra del Fuego National Park, walk coastal trails and glacial lakes, or dive into local history at the End of the World Museum. Round it off with fresh seafood, famous Fuegian lamb and excellent Argentine wines.

9

Day 9 - Cape Horn

Cape Horn, Chile – at the very tip of Tierra del Fuego, one of the most remote places on Earth. Named in 1616, its jagged cliffs and wild shores mark the meeting point of the Atlantic and Pacific, creating a truly dramatic setting.

Expect anything from roaring seas to calmer waters, depending on the season. Explore Cape Horn National Park, a UNESCO-listed reserve rich in unique wildlife and pristine landscapes.

10

Day 10 - Gerlache Strait

Unusual geographic conditions in this channel create one of the world’s richest plankton habitats. The abundance of food attracts large numbers of whales, offering an unforgettable chance to watch them feeding in these nutrient-packed waters.

11

Day 11 - Paradise Bay

The name is well deserved, with crystal-clear waters mirroring dramatic peaks like Rojas, Bryde and the Petzvol Glacier. Keep an eye out for feeding minke whales and curious gentoo penguins watching from the rocky shoreline.

12

Day 12 - Schollart Channel

Schollart Channel, Antarctica – venture into one of the planet’s most remote and awe-inspiring regions. Surrounded by Anvers and Brabant Islands, this icy passage is packed with towering ice floes and incredible wildlife. Look out for humpback whales, penguins, and even leopard seals thriving in this extreme environment. It’s an unforgettable Antarctic experience, perfect for once-in-a-lifetime moments and photos.

Day 13 - Elephant Island

Elephant Island, Antarctica – a remote outpost steeped in history. This is where Shackleton’s Endurance crew survived a brutal winter in 1914, with every man making it home.

Today, it’s a haven for wildlife. Expect elephant seals, fur seals and bustling penguin colonies at Cape Lookout, plus a variety of seabirds overhead. For something truly unique, discover ancient moss beds—among the oldest living organisms on Earth.
