Dubai is an everchanging oasis sandwiched between the mighty deserts of Arabia and the inviting blue waters of the Persian Gulf. Dubai is constantly reimagining itself, metamorphosing from a small fishing village to one of the most iconic skylines in the world within a short period. Dubai is a year round destination with something to offer for just about anyone.

Beach lovers need to look no further than the impressive Jumeirah, stretching for over 50 miles of white sand, fringed by clam blue waters and just about guaranteed sunshine, Jumeriah has become one of the world’s most famous beaches. Beautiful hotels are dotted along this coastline, including the iconic Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, jutting out from the man-made Palm Jumeirah.

It seems that every time you blink a new skyscraper appears. Dubai features the Burj Khalifa, towering over the skyline at nearly 830m high, viewable from just about anywhere in the city, this impressive landmark is a perfect example of Dubai’s modernity.

Shopping is almost a sport in Dubai, with malls abounding. The Dubai Mall offers seemingly endless retail therapy, whilst also housing the Dubai Aquarium and a host of dining opportunities. As the light begins to fade the adjacent Dubai Fountain comes to life with sound and light shows. Contrast this with the traditional spice souk, a colourful and aromatic journey into the areas past.
