Digby, which is known worldwide as the Scallop Capital of the world is situated within the SouthWest Nova UNESCO Biosphere Reserve right along the Bay of Fundy and is a beautiful seaside community with a strong fishing industry and history. 

With world-class whale watching, unique architecture, authentic fishing villages, some of the best most succulent seafood, local vineyards, hiking, cycling, kayaking, golfing, shopping, and a range of one-of-a-kind tours throughout the area, Digby is certainly a must visit location. 
 
The Digby Area is home to some of the best whale watching in North America. 
The unique tidal range of the Bay of Fundy creates the perfect feeding ground for many species of whales such as the Minke, Finback. Humpback and the endangered North Atlantic Right whale. .

Located right along the Bay of Fundy the Digby area offers expansive coastline with stunning and ever-changing scenery.
 
The Bay of Fundy is recognized nationally and internationally as the world’s most dynamic tidal coastline. 
The 270 km (170 mile) long ocean bay is home to the highest tides in the world with 54 feet/16 metres tides measured at Burntcoat Head near Wolfville. It is considered Canada’s Natural Wonder for good reason.
 
After a hard days exploring, there are plenty of excellent restaurants to try in Digby such as the Fundy Restaurant with its superb scallops, Antonio's Pasta & Grill for excellent fish and chips, the Shorline Restaurant with a great selection of seafood, and many more.
