Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel

Situated in the vast and beautiful landscape of Death Valley, Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel provides authentic western comfort. Several of our 83 rooms offer breathtaking views of Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes and surrounding mountain ranges while others open onto our tranquil, historic inner courtyard.
 
Guests can enjoy swimming in the outdoor pool with covered lounge area and enjoy a hearty meal at our acclaimed Toll Road Restaurant. For lighter fare and a wide selection of cold beverages, the Badwater Saloon awaits. Visitors are always welcome to browse the Nugget Gift Shop and the General Store with refueling available at our service station. Limited Wi-Fi is offered in public areas.

Accommodation

Deluxe Rooms

Our comfortable deluxe rooms are suited for couples or families with a variety of bed configurations.  These hotel rooms have air conditioning, television, a coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and a ceiling fan. Many feature newly renovated bathrooms with granite countertops, stone floors, and a shower. A limited number of rollaway beds (small fee applies) and baby cribs are available. Our deluxe rooms are some of the best death valley hotel rooms in the park.

Standard Rooms

All standard rooms offer air conditioning, television, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and two double beds, one full bed, and one twin bed, or one queen bed.  These Death Valley hotel rooms all include our standard amenities, including a desk. Private bathrooms are outfitted with a shower.

Patio Rooms

Surrounding our historic courtyard and situated near the auditorium, these quaint rooms are perfectly suited for lone travelers or couples. The “courtyard quarters” will accommodate one or two people and include air conditioning, television, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, and the standard amenities, including a workstation desk. Private bathrooms are outfitted with a shower.  These smaller Death Valley hotel rooms, the only ones original to Stovepipe Wells, have one double or one double and one twin bed available.

Badwater Saloon

The Badwater Saloon, named for Badwater, Death Valley, elevation 282 ft below sea level, lets you quench your thirst with our “As big as the West” beverage selection. You can enjoy an array of beers on tap as well as our own Death Valley label beer in honor of Death Valley history and the vast surrounding desert. The saloon’s full bar includes a large selection of wine and an imaginative menu of specialty cocktails and signature western spirits. Lunch and light fare are also available.
