Tahsis, British Columbia

Tahsis is a small village situated on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It is well known for its lush landscape with a rainforest and fjord-like mountains. Wildlife such as black bears can be seen in the area Spring through to Fall.

Tahsis is a fantastic location for water sports - Nooka Inlet is popular with surfers due to it's water temperature and rogue waves and Tahsis Inlet is perfect for windsurfing and kiteboarding. The inlet and Nooka Sounds is ideal for fishing due to its marine life, Chinook, Halibut and various types of Salmon can be caught nearby. You might also be lucky to see Orcas, Gray Whales, Humpbacks and seals.

If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land then there are many hiking trails on offer including the well known Nooka Trail.
