Grizzly bear viewing season is from August to October.

Only accessible by boat or seaplane, the off-the grid resort is located within the heart of Desolation Sound, Klahoose Wilderness Resort resides upon Homfray Channel between the Coast Mountain peaks of British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast and the Salish Sea and the southern edge of the Great Bear Rainforest. 

The ancient voices echoed in the traditional Klahoose greeting welcome newly arrived guests with a casual gathering on the lodge verandah. The unparalleled visit is about to begin. One deep breath of the pure, energizing forest air has life's worries vanishing instantly. Senses suddenly awaken upon hearing the distant call of a majestic eagle as it soars above a pod of nearby Orca's, whose distinct dorsal fins break the water's calm surface.

You are ready to embrace the natural and the supernatural spirits of this land and its People. You are ready to "Answer the Call".

Accommodation
Stays are for 3 or 4 nights and are All-Inclusive. Included in your stay are all meals, accommodation in a Lodge Room or private One or Two Bedroom Cabins, adventures and wildlife and cultural tours and  transfers...we look after every detail. 
Klahoose Wilderness Resort offers two main type of accommodation in a total of seven Lodge rooms and private Cabins all have a private washroom, daily light housekeeping and overlook the ocean and surrounding mountains of Homfray Channel.  

Lodge Rooms perfect for two guests and private one and two bedroom Cabins that can sleep up to 6 guests.

Based on double occupancy Klahoose Wilderness Resort can accommodate 14 guests or 15-26 guests when sharing all the beds.
