The lodge is set directly on the Icefields Parkway, around 30 minutes' drive north of Lake Louise and roughly an hour from Jasper along one of the most scenic drives in the Canadian Rockies. Bow Glacier feeds the lake immediately in front of the property, with Crowfoot Glacier visible across the water. A lakeshore trail leads straight from the lodge towards Bow Glacier Falls, a walk of a few hours through forest to a waterfall framed by rock walls. In winter, the same trails open up for snowshoeing, and Lake Louise Ski Resort is a short drive away.
