The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion is an iconic building, built in 1855 offering a glimpse into the life of the deep south and is one of the most photographed sights in the city. Other plantation houses in the area include the Oakliegh Complex and the Bellingrath.
The USS Alabama Memorial Park showcases the WWII battleship, this 42,500 ton monster has been converted into a museum ship, alongside the USS Drum, a WWII submarine which saw action throughout the Pacific.
Alligator Alley affords the chance to see over 200 alligators from an elevated boardwalk. Follow the trail and view these mighty reptiles in their natural habitat.
The Mobile Tenshaw River Delta is one of the largest wetland deltas in the states and offers a wide eco-diversity of beaches bays and bayous.
Mardi Gras – Mobile hosted the first recorded Fat Tuesday in the states back in 1703 and to this day is still a time for celebration in the city.
