Enjoy a walk-in nature around the Queen Charlotte Tack before making your way to Punga Cove. Located in the Marlborough Sound here you can enjoy a bite to eat before heading on your cruise back to Pitcon.
Start your day with a coffee and morning tea at Furneaux Lodge, or head straight onto the Queen Charlotte Track. This well-formed coastal section of the track winds around the inlet, through lush native regenerating bush abundant in tree ferns and birdlife, and crosses trickling streams, including a swing bridge.
Enjoy the historic Furneaux Lodge which is the starting point for your walk around the head of Endeavour Inlet to Punga Cove Resort. You will venture over the swing bridge into the cool embrace of abundant punga ferns along the shoreline, to the melodic call of the bellbird. If there’s time, enjoy pizza and a drink at Punga Cove before meeting at the jetty at 3.15pm for the cruise back to Picton. Then reboard the vessel and cruise back to Picton.
