British Airways Helpful Information

British Airways is the national airline of the United Kingdom. They run a full-service operation and are certified as a 4-star airline. 

We have put together a helpful guide of important information you may need before you fly.

Check In

Check In

You can check in through the British Airways- Manage My Booking portal. To access your flight, you will require your British Airways Booking Reference, found on your Stewart Travel documentation as well as your Surname. 
 

  • Online Check-In: which we recommend, is available 24 hours prior to departure with free seat reservations, however, this is always subject to availability.
  • Check-in at the airport: kiosks will open 3 hours before flight departure.

 
For international travel, you require a government-issued Passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date you return to the United Kingdom. Please see our helpful ‘Passports, Visas & FCO advice’ section if you are unsure of your requirements.
 
Advanced Passenger Information (APIS) Advanced Passenger Information can be collected at Check-In at the airport. In addition, we thoroughly recommend completing this information in advance online through British Airways- Manage My Booking.

Seat Selection

Seat Selection at Charge: It is now the industry standard for seat selection to be at a cost and can only be booked directly through the airline, seat costs are per person per flight. Seat selection can only be completed once your flights have been ticketed, this typically happens automatically roughly 4 weeks prior to travel. However, if purchasing a seat is very important to you please touch base with your consultant directly any time after your final payment has been made and they can request early ticketing on your behalf, this will allow you seat selection access within 24 hours via British Airways- Manage My Booking.
