A Taste of Martinborough – Half Day Winery Tour

Enjoy a half day private guided tour where you will sample world class wines in Martinborough along with a fabulous lunch at a winery. You will also have an in-depth conversation with a Winemaker/Owner.

Start with a scenic drive from Wellington up through the Hutt Valley to the Remutaka Hill summit, 555 metres above sea level. View the Remutaka Crossing monument commemorating 60,000 New Zealand troops who made the crossing from the Featherston Military Camp to the Port of Wellington in World War One.

Visit 3 boutique, family-owned wineries where you will taste a wide range of wines from Martinborough’s famous Pinot Noir, Syrah, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. Have an in-depth conversation with a Wine Maker/Vineyard Owner to understand what it takes to produce consistently great wine.

Enjoy a beautiful platter lunch at one of the wineries featuring local produce. NZ spring water, entry/tasting fees and lunch with 1 beverage of your choice.
